CHILDREN AND STUDENTS

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. - Colossians 2:6-7

We love kids at Seven Rivers! Our mission is to partner with parents as they point their kids to Jesus. We provide safe, loving spaces for kids to hear about God’s love for them, have fun with each other, and connect with caring adults because kids are a valuable part of our church. We also provide community and resources for parents as they walk through each stage of the [challenging!] privilege of raising the kids God has entrusted to them.

Our hope is to meet young people with the gospel at each stage of life so they can know Jesus and deepen their faith in him in order to be rooted in that faith for a lifetime. From teaching young kids the Bible and a love for the church, to giving middle and high school students space to work through tough questions about faith and life in community with other students and caring leaders, we are excited to see what God is doing in the lives of young people.

  • Seven Rivers Kids [for Elementary age kids and under]

    SUNDAY MORNINGS

4th graders and younger can be dropped off in the kids building [the red house on the left as you enter Silo Oaks, you can park in the spots in front of the building] before the service begins for a great time of Bible stories, music, crafts, snacks, and more.

We have space set aside for babies and toddlers to provide a fun and loving environment for them as well.

All of this is led by a great team of caring, trained adults. We love having them with us!

** Special kids’ bulletins are also available at the Welcome Desk to help kids who are in the service to follow along. Kids are always welcome to worship with their families in the service.

    FAMILY GATHERINGS

We do cookouts, an Easter egg hunt and other gatherings throughout the year for families. They are a great time for kids to hang out and parents to connect with each other.
