Leadership

We believe the Bible teaches that churches should be led by a plurality of elders. Because we are still a church plant and do not have our own elected elders, our church is overseen by the elders of our sending church, Seven Rivers Church in Lecanto, FL.

Our hope is that this will change soon. We are in the process of moving from a church plant to a particular [independent] church. You can find out more about this process HERE. Currently, we have 3 Ruling Elder nominees- Bob Blaise, Brad Hough, and Dick Nangle- who will be voted on at a Congregational Meeting on January 11. If elected, they will be installed as our first class of Ruling Elders on February 8, and will lead and shepherd SRVC alongside our 2 teaching elders [pastors].
